No account, no email
You never sign up. Your browser gets a silent anonymous ID so we know which comics are yours. Clear your browser data and that ID is gone, along with your owner controls.
What we store
Your form answers (first names, looks, the grievance and the fate), the comic we make from them, its script, and basic counts like blesses and reports. We also keep a short log of when comics were made, with a hashed IP address, to enforce rate limits.
What is private
Your form answers are private to you and never appear on a comic page, a share image or the gallery. Comics are unlisted by default: anyone with the link can see the comic, but search engines are told not to index it.
What is public
If you choose Hang It in the Gallery, the comic image, its tagline and style become public and searchable. Your anonymous ID is never shown.
Who processes it
Comics are written and drawn by Google's Gemini AI. Your answers are sent to it only to make your comic. Our database and file storage run on our hosting provider.
How to take a comic down
On your comic, use Take It Down to remove it from the gallery at any time. If a comic about you was posted by someone else, use This One's Too Much on the comic page and we'll review it.
